Looks more like Amethyst than a ruby. Real pale in color. My measurement shows 18” chain but I have no idea what it is made of. Bought for my daughter and would have returned it if it wasn’t such a hassle. Supposed to come wth cleaner but did not. Paid extra for expedited shipping but that did not happen. Called and they did refund that charge. Would not buy again. No paperwork showing it is a Real Ruby verses man made. Will buy local from now on.
