mine to market in partnership with the United Nations, to prevent the trade of illegal
diamonds.

The Kimberley Process
|
|
Finejewelers.com supports the Kimberley Process Certification Scheme (KPCS), established
in 2003 to track and certify diamonds. The law requires all US diamond retailers
to buy diamonds from manufacturers who have documentation warranting that the merchandise
was obtained through strict guidelines in the import and export of diamonds, certifying
that they are legitimate, and subject to invoice review and mine review by an international
committee.
