We have made a great effort to accurately depict the colors of the gemstones set
in our jewelry. Unfortunately the color you see on the images, is dependent on your
computer monitor. We can only guarantee that the color you see will be very close
to what our gemstones will look like. The jewelry may also appear larger or smaller
than actual size. Some photographs have been enlarged to show detail.

Unless specifically stated, all our gemstones are guaranteed genuine. In addition
to genuine Gemstones, we also offer Lab Created Gemstones. Lab created gemstones
are made by man with the same mineral composition as natural gemstones, and are
created in laboratories with equipment that simulates the same high pressures and
heat that nature used to created the real gemstones. A lab created gemstone is identical
to the natural gemstone it replicates in every way; color, hardness, composition
and luster. A lab created gemstone is identical to a natural gemstone, except that
the lab created gemstone is flawless.

Colored gemstones are traditionally treated to enhance their color and durability.
The following treatments and enhancements are expected and accepted by the jewelry
industry, and by FineJewelers.com.
Heating: Heating is a widely accepted enhancement process used on most gemstones
to improve on transparency and color. Heating is generally considered a permanent
treatment, and heated stones do not normally require any special care.
Oiling: Oiling is an ancient and still widely accepted enhancement process
used on most emeralds to enhance clarity and hardiness. Special care should be taken
when cleaning emeralds. Avoid ultrasonic machines, steaming and harsh jewelry cleaners.
Nearly all emeralds available today have been enhanced by oiling.

|
Wear all your gemstone jewelry freely, except avoid activities that could cause
it to damage. You can clean your gemstone jewelry with a mild soap and a soft toothbrush.
While gold jewelry can be cleaned with an ultrasonic cleaner, not all gemstones
can tolerate ultrasonic cleaning, especially emeralds. Ultrasonic machines should
be used by professionals. to avoid any damage to jewelry and gemstones. In the case
of pearls and emeralds also avoid steaming and chemicals. Instead professional cleaning
by a jeweler is recommended.
