Three different looks from the UNICEF Snowflake Ball

Three different looks from the UNICEF Snowflake Ball

This is the ninth year in a row that some of the hottest stars have flocked to the UNICEF Snowflake Ball – and for a worthy cause. This is one of New York City's most notable galas, and it honors those who have made philanthropic efforts that support the organization's mission to save children's lives. What better reason to get decked out to the nines? Since the first annual black-tie affair, this event has raised over $18 million for UNICEF's programs. At the recent gathering, many of the biggest personalities in film, television and music arrived in style to show their support for the organization and those who work hard to help children in need.

Not only have made of the attendees made strides in philanthropy, but they're also some of the most stylish in the business. Next time you have a formal affair to go to, take a cue from these ladies and look for similar accessories from Fine Jewelers:

Katie Couric
Couric may be 56 years old, but she proved she's still as glamorous as ever in a floor-grazing shimmering gown with all-over gold sequin accents. Then she took her outfit up a notch by donning ornate gold leaf-shaped earrings, which pulled the whole look together.

Tea Leoni
Leoni opted for an edgier look than the other stars at the ball. She sported a bright cobalt striped black maxi skirt with a thigh high split and a leather moto jacket. Then she softened up the ensemble with a striking turquoise statement ring and matching chandelier earrings, which gave the whole outfit a subtle boho vibe.

Angie Harmon
This actress/model went with classically elegant attire. In a floor-length black and cream gown with detailing on the bust, she was a surefire stunner. Her glitzy drop earrings added a little sparkle to the ensemble, which made her look even more eye-catching on the red carpet.
