People magazine reported that 55-year-old Sharon Stone defied her age and donned a daring top with sheer netted detailing, a skintight pencil skirt and peep-toe platform pumps at the recent Kiehl's 4th annual LifeRide event in L.A. Against an all black outfit, her three pendant necklaces glimmered. If you want to add some intrigue to a monochromatic ensemble, take a cue from Stone and layer long necklaces from fine jewelers.
According to Refinery 29, LifeRide was aimed at raising awareness and money for The Foundation for AIDS Research. Stone, who is chairman for amFAR, was joined by Kelis and other celebrities for a unique event complete with a Harley-Davidson photo booth and tunes by DJ Spinderella.
While it's easy to recognize Stone looking stunning as ever, it might be a little more difficult to spot her in the film "Lovelace," her latest movie costarring Amanda Seyfried and Peter Sarsgaard. As Linda Lovelace's mother Dorothy Bateman, she donned a dark wig and makeup to hide her flawless skin and features. The Los Angeles Times reported that this year's Sundance Film Festival, film executive Harvey Weinstein admitted he had no idea that Stone was even in the film. Stone, who plays the mother of Linda Lovelace, was flattered.
"It's kind of great," she said, according to the news outlet. "I was so into the role that I was unrecognizable."
When she's not acting a part, Stone certainly stands out in a crowd. Clearly, three necklaces are all you need to make a statement.
