Fashion’s elite flaunt bold accessories at CFDA Fashion Awards

Vera Wang won the Lifetime Achievement Award at the 2013 CFDA Awards.

Just when we thought the biggest event in fashion was the Met Gala 2013, the CFDA Fashion Awards crept around the corner, revealing some of the hottest looks of the year so far. Accessories galore and designer dresses adorned Hollywood's most gorgeous stars, including Kerry Washington, Alessandra Ambrosio and Sofia Vergara, to name a few. There were a few underwhelming ensembles, but overall, these stunning starlets killed in the beauty and style department.

One of the most famous Victoria's Secret Angels, Ambrosio showed up in an all-white backless gown designed by KAUFMANFRANCO, which she paired with platinum and diamond jewels, including statement hoop earrings and a dazzling cocktail ring. She kept her hair sleek and simple, showing off her natural beauty and leaving onlookers envious of her innate fashion sense and killer genes.

Vera Wang showed off her earthy bracelets while clutching her Geoffrey Beene Lifetime Achievement Award, which was presented to her by Ralph Lauren, according to the New York Daily News. The world-renowned designer wore a flowing, gray silk gown with a serious slit and finished the look with stick-straight black hair.

Some people made their mark on the red carpet and had viewers wondering who they were in the A-list realm. One of these individuals was Jessica Stam, a Canadian model who wore a neon yellow dress from Rebecca Minkoff's line. Though her dress was certainly bold, it was her accessories that caught the camera's eye – she wore massive dangle earrings with onyx stones and a matching statement necklace with a bright, bejeweled pendant that added even more color to her attire. She posed with Minkoff after they spent the day getting ready together, according to Women's Wear Daily.
