The cast of "Spring Breakers" has proven that they can wipe away their squeaky clean image. Vanessa Hudgens, along with her other female costars, has been parading the red carpet in an array of high-fashion and provocative ensembles to promote the equally racy new film, where she plays a rebellious college student heading on the ultimate spring break trip.
While her character might be out of control, the former Disney star seems to keep it cool in real life, recently appearing like your typical 24-year-old on "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno." The actress wore an allover sequin dress in canary yellow with gold accessories to match. She showed off her beautiful teardrop crystal earrings with a fun and flirty ponytail, and even broke out a few dance moves for Leno and her fans.
While Hudgens has been flaunting diverse styles at each premiere, she has proclaimed that her favorite, most natural look is hippie-influenced and carefree, she told Cosmopolitan in the April issue.
"I'm a total gypsy bohemian," she told the magazine. "If I could go back in time, I'd be front row for Janis Joplin at Woodstock!"
She plays the part well, wearing flower child-inspired pieces that also give a nod to the upcoming Coachella festival in California. The hippie-loving actress, wearing stacks of hemp bracelets and gold bangles on both arms in the magazine spread, plans on making the music event a long tradition – "until I die," she says.
Last year, Hudgens flaunted her bohemian style in high-waisted denim shorts, a long flowing vest covering a bandeau top, a floral headband and tons of bracelets and long chain necklaces, perfect for swaying and dancing to whatever band's set was up next.
