Amy Poehler looked nothing short of fabulous when she arrived on the red carpet for the annual Costume Designers Guild Awards. According to Just Jared, the stunning actress and comedian donned a black Prada dress, which she wore with Giuseppe Zanotti shoes and bold, emerald green Ippolita earrings.
Poehler attended the event in order to present the Distinguished Collaborator Award to Lorne Michaels, the executive producer of "Saturday Night Live," alongside her former co-star Maya Rudolph. Even though her career started in SNL, she has certainly made a name for herself as Leslie Knope on "Parks and Recreation." According to The Huffington Post, this didn't exactly come easy for the starlet, especially in the beginning of the show.
"Well, our first six episodes were basically a pilot. We shot them all at once. Our Season 1 was six episodes. So, everyone is like, 'I didn't like Season 1,'" Poehler told the news source. "And I'm like, 'Well, it was six episodes and we were trying to work it out.. There's often a little bit of growing pains. Although, I'm frankly very proud of those episodes."
