Stars are red hot to start off fashion week

New York Fashion Week kicked off with a star-studded runway show for a good cause. According to ABC News, the first event was the 11th annual Heart Truth Red Dress fashion show at Hammerstein Ballroom. The event is held each year in order to raise awareness for heart disease and help women understand the severity of the disease as well as ways to prevent it.

As a part of the show, many A-list celebrities show up and strut their stuff down the catwalk. One of the many stunning starlets was “Fashion Police” host Kelly Osbourne. According to ContactMusic, she was a little nervous before she walked down the catwalk in a strapless Zac Posen mermaid dress, which she paired with red drop earrings, gold shoes and her lavender colored hair in curls. Once she hit the runway, however, there was no reason for her to be nervous, as the crowd cheered loudly for the E! host.

Osbourne has a great deal to celebrate as of late – she recently announced she and boyfriend Matthew Mosshart are engaged. According to Us Weekly, the starlet can’t stop gushing about her man and hopefully a wedding in the near future.

“Isn’t that on every girl’s radar? You’re born, and you’re like ‘I want to get married.’ Honestly, when it happens, it happens, and if I’m lucky enough, maybe you actually won’t see me single,” Osbourne told the news source.

Also in attendance to walk the catwalk was Kendall Jenner in a Badgley Mischka gown, Minka Kelly in a Oscar de la Rentra frock with drop earrings and a few cocktail rings as well as gymnast Gabby Douglas in a Pamella Round number with drop earrings and a sparkling bracelet.
