Rose Byrne looked nothing short of glamorous when she arrived at the premiere of her latest film, “I Give It A Year,” in London this past Thursday night. According to People magazine, the stunning actress donned a simple pink Balenciaga dress, which she paired with black Charlotte Olympia heels and Dana Rebecca Designs earrings and rings.
In the new British comedy, Byrne plays opposite Rafe Spall as newlywed couple Nat and Josh. After a fast-moving romance, the two find that they need to work out some of their relationship problems. To fuel the plot, Josh is still friends with his ex, who is played by Anna Faris. In addition, Nat is being pursued by someone she works with, played by Simon Baker. In the film, Baker’s character tries to win Nat over by presenting her with a live dove – this was tough for Byrne to handle, as she is scared of birds, The Independent reports.
“I was petrified. I was slightly unprepared, but I have a fear of birds, I discovered, and the scene, unfortunately, was hijacked by this fear. It was intense. It was like a weird acting exercise, where I had to focus on my objective while being completely physically overtaken. It was really weird,” Byrne told the news source.
The film also stars Minnie Driver, Stephen Merchant, Jason Flemyng and Olivia Colman. Driver also looked fantastic at the event in a floor-length black gown with lace sleeves and detailing around the neckline. She paired the look with a simple dazzling bracelet and her brunette locks in an elegant updo, the Daily Mail reports.
