Jessica Alba is a vision of coral elegance at the Golden Globes

Jessica Alba looked nothing short of glamorous when she arrived on the red carpet of the 70th Annual Golden Globes. According to People magazine, the stunning starlet donned a coral, form-fitting Oscar de la Renta gown. She paired the mermaid-style dress with a fuzzy orange Roger Vivier clutch and dazzling Harry Winston necklace, which was valued at $5.8 million.

Alba has been a fashion icon for some time, and even though she has a seemingly perfect body, there are some fashion choices that she says even she won’t make. According to InStyle magazine, Alba admits that she doesn’t see booty shorts in her future. Regardless of whether they are ever in style again, the look still isn’t right for the mother of two.

”I probably won’t ever wear booty shorts,” Alba told the publication. “I feel pretty confident about that. And I don’t like oversize shoulder pads, but I do appreciate a strong shoulder profile, like the ones [designer] Isabel Marant is doing.”

Alba does have one thing she wears by in terms of fashion – tailoring. She believes that it doesn’t matter whether the shopper thinks an item is their perfect size, as it will make a world of difference if they get it sized for their body.

”Whether you shop at H&M, Topshop, Target, Forever 21, or buy high-end, if the piece doesn’t fit, it will be halfway there. So get your jackets nipped in at the waist and your pants hemmed at the perfect place. If you get your clothing tailored, you can look like a million bucks,” Alba told the media outlet.

The gorgeous actress does believe she has become a little more adventurous with her fashion choices over the years, as she loves to experiment with bold prints and colors, much like the hue she wore for the Globes.
