Amy Adams is no stranger to the red carpet, and she proved once again that she knows exactly how to bring her A-game in terms of fashion. According to People magazine, the stunning red head donned an asymmetrical white and navy silk Vionnet dress, which she paired with dazzling drop earrings and a cocktail ring. The dress, which was white on the top and blue at the bottom, was complete with a thigh-high slit that showed off her Jimmy Choo heels.
According to USA Today, Adams did not expect the Best Supporting Actress Oscar nomination for her role in “The Master” alongside Philip Seymour Hoffman and Joaquin Phoenix, who were also nominated.
“I have a 2 1/2-year-old. I am used to waking up early. I’m letting my man sleep in. We’re watching Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, I’m having coffee,” Adams told the news source of when she found out she was nominated. “I’m excited. It’s a little crazy and wonderful. I did not expect it in any way, shape or form. It’s one of those nice surprises.”
This is Adams’ fourth nomination. She was previously up for 2010’s “The Fighter,” 2008’s “Doubt” and “Junebug” in 2005.
