Rihanna was the first on stage to perform during "The Voice" finale on Tuesday night, and no one could deny how beautiful the starlet looked. According to People Magazine, the singer donned a dazzling sequined jumpsuit, amazing crystal accessories and bronze sandals, which were all by Lanvin. However, there was one item not by the designer, RiRi's J/Hadley snake ring.
Rihanna came out to sing the first song of the show, and she wowed the audience with her hit single, "Diamonds." The stage was lit up, and the crowd went crazy for the amazing vocalist, the media outlet reports.
The night was full of celebration. Shortly after Rihanna performed, Cassadee Pope, who was part of Blake Shelton's team, was declared the winner of the third season after a record-breaking amount of votes the night before, according to the Daily Mail.
Pope beat out second place Scotland native Terry McDermott, who was also a part of Shelton's team, and Team Cee Lo's soulman Nicholas David. McDermott looked close to tears after the winner was announced, and David simply thanked his family and coach for his time on the show. However, no one was as surprised and thrilled as Pope when her name was announced.
"I feel amazing," said Pope, who made it beat 64 contestants and months of competition. "Thank you to everyone who voted for me, fans, Blake and the producers, wardrobe hair and makeup, Carson, the band, Christina, everybody, seriously, it's been so great."
The night also marked the last for judges Cee Lo Green Christina Aguilera, who will not be returning to the show next year. Aguilera, who was celebrating her 32nd birthday during the show, was rocking white feathered epaulettes with silver chains and a platinum blonde bob. She took the time to share some of her favorite moments during the finale.
"I’ll never forget Nicholas’ crazy stomps and kicks last night, he was working it out." Aguilera said. "Cassadee makes me smile, when she hits those notes it's amazing and Terry, with his tippy toes and seeing those personal moments with his son are very heartwarming to me."
Next season, viewers can expect to see Shelton and Adam Levine once again, but they will be joined by Shakira and Usher for the new season.
