Britney Spears and Demi Lovato wow at recent ‘X Factor’ event

It is the final week for "X Factor," and all of the judges and remaining contestants got together for a press conference Monday night. Judges Britney Spears and Demi Lovato certainly looked fantastic when they arrived at the event.

Britney Spears takes a lot from experience
According to People Magazine, Spears donned a black dress with gold trimming on the neckline, matching earrings and gold heels. Her blonde hair was down with a loose wave to it, and her smokey eye makeup topped off her look.

During the press conference, Spears opened up about her experience as a judge on "X Factor," and explained how much she has enjoyed her time. Spears has one of the three remaining acts in the competition who is favored to win, 13-year-old Carly Rose Sonenclar.

"It's been even better for me, the whole experience," said Spears. "It's opened me up to so many different things and just how many gifted people that are out there. It's been a really special experience for me."

Sonenclar joined her mentor at the press conference, and she looked lovely herself in black jeans, a white blouse, with a simple silver necklace, the Daily Mail reports.

Demi Lovato gets to perform
Lovato also looked fantastic at the event, as she donned a multi-colored miniskirt with a big, blouse-like black shirt, a collared necklace and a few cocktail rings. Her dark brown hair was in loose waves, and she donned black pumps with matching tights, People reports.

Lovato, who has no one left in her group in the competition, will still take part in the finale of the show. One aspect of the finale is each group has to performing a duet with a star in the industry. Sonenclar will team up with LeAnn Rimes, Tate Stevens with Little Big Town, and Cowell's group, Fifth Harmony, with Lovato.

"It's kind of irritating to say but the person we decided to duet with is Demi Lovato," Cowell, who known never to give a compliment, told the news source. "But then again she didn't have much else to do on the show because she hasn't got anyone else in the finals, I felt that she needed something to do. And after listening to [Lovato's] constant carping on about my contestants, the fact that I can now judge you, I can't wait."

Say goodbye to L.A. Reid
Whether or not these judges will be here next year remains to be seen, but it is definite that L.A. Reid will not return. Reid, who has one of the remaining contestants, Tate Stevens, has nothing bad to say about the show or its leader, Cowell.

"I have the utmost respect for Simon Cowell," said Reid. "He is the very best, and I have had the opportunity to learn so much from him… Working with him on X Factor has been a once-in-a-lifetime experience. I'm honored to have sat on the panel with such incredible talent."

The show's co-hosts, Khloe Kardashian and Mario Lopez, joined the panel of judges at the event. Lopez looked dapper in a black suit, whereas Kardashian looked as though she had legs for days in black jeans and lace up boots. She paired the look with an animal-print jacket and a simple necklace, the Daily Mail reports.

Who will win will be up to America. After the three acts perform Wednesday night, everyone will be able to vote on their favorite. The winner will be announced this Thursday during a live show.
