Use accessories to show your political faves on Election Day

There are so many ways jewelry can be used to show a woman's favorite things. Charms or pendants on bracelets and necklaces can mark special events, show a lady's favorite animal or honor a loved one. Rings can sometimes symbolize a person's high school or college career.

However, many trendy fashionistas are now using such accessories to show their political leanings as Election Day approaches. For instance, according to TMZ, singer Beyonce Knowles was recently spotted wearing large gold hoop earrings with the word "Obama" dangling in the middle.

While jewelry that endorses a particular candidate is relatively rare, there are things women can do to show their support. For instance, depending on where they fall in the political spectrum, they can sport pieces with rubies or sapphires in them, or even emeralds if they favor the Green Party.

Because animal print is so popular this year, ladies might even be able to find pendants or cuffs with either an elephant or a donkey on them as well, in keeping with the mascots of the two-party system. No matter which way she's planning on voting in November, any jewelry lover can be sure she looks good and show her support while casting her ballot!
