“Arrested Development” star puts a ring on it!

In a quirky ceremony fitting for the fun couple, Amber Tamblyn married David Cross on October 6 in Los Angeles. The "Sisterhood of the Travelling Pants" star and the "Arrested Development" funny man said their vows in front of a modest crowd of friends and family after Tamblyn arrived wearing a bright yellow gown via kayak.

The couple has been together for approximately four years, though their sizable age difference has been the focus of many media stories. The actress is 29 years old, while Cross is 49.

While there hasn't been any word on the design of their wedding rings, they are almost sure to be an unique and interesting as Amber's engagement ring. Though the actress didn't officially describe the piece, it looks like it features a bright green emerald on a thicker gold band.

Alternative engagement rings have been a notable trend propagated by celebrity couples lately. Some think that this trend was kicked off when Britain's Prince William proposed to Kate Middleton in 2011 with his mother's sapphire bauble, which is surrounded by 14 diamonds.
